Hi-Vis Workwear Try On

Band placement is certification, not styling, so it has to be accurate.

One free generation a day. No account, no card.

How it works

  1. 1. Upload your garment

Photograph so every reflective band is fully visible and correctly positioned.

  2. 2. Pick a model and pose

Front and rear views are both needed, since coverage is assessed all round.

  3. 3. Generate and download

One free watermarked result. Sign up for the clean, full-resolution file.

Why this is worth getting right

High-visibility clothing is a certified safety product rather than a styled garment, and that changes the obligations on its imagery. Certification depends on measurable things — the area of fluorescent background material, the area and placement of retroreflective bands, and whether those bands encircle the body and limbs — and the class a garment achieves follows from those measurements. An image that moves a band, omits one, or shows coverage the garment does not have misrepresents a product people rely on to be seen, which is a materially different kind of error from misrepresenting a colour. Accuracy here is a safety matter and the reason this page exists. Practically, that means every band must appear where it actually sits, and rear views are not optional because encircling coverage is part of what is certified. Photographing the fluorescent material honestly is its own challenge, since fluorescent yellow and orange are intensely saturated and both cameras and processing tend to clip them into a flat block that loses the garment shape underneath — restrained exposure and careful saturation are what keep the fabric readable. Retroreflective bands look grey and dull in ordinary light and only return light when a source is near the lens, so a photograph without direct return shows their placement rather than their performance, which is the honest thing to show. Class and standard references belong in the listing text, stated exactly as certified.

Tips that actually help

  • Place every band exactly where it sits on the garment, because band geometry is part of what is certified.
  • Include rear views, since encircling coverage is assessed all round and a front view cannot show it.
  • Restrain exposure on fluorescent fabric, which clips easily into a flat block that hides the garment shape.
  • Show bands as they look in ordinary light, since retroreflection only returns with a source near the lens.
  • State class and standard exactly as certified in the text rather than implying performance through imagery.

Preguntas frecuentes

Why does band placement matter so much?
Because certification depends on the area and geometry of the retroreflective bands. Moving or omitting one misrepresents a safety product.
Do I need a rear view?
Yes. Encircling coverage is part of what is assessed, and a front-only image cannot show it.
Why does fluorescent fabric look flat?
It is intensely saturated and clips easily, so cameras and processing turn it into a block that hides the garment shape. Restrain exposure.
Why do the bands look grey?
Retroreflective material only returns light when a source sits near the lens. In ordinary light it looks dull, which is the honest appearance.
Should imagery imply performance?
No. Show placement accurately and state the class and standard exactly as certified in the text.
What about branding on hi-vis?
Logo placement must not obstruct certified band coverage, so where branding sits is a compliance question rather than a design one.
Does this apply to consumer visibility products?
The honesty obligation does. Whether formal certification applies depends on the product and market.
Is the free generation really free?
